Radiance: Webster definition: Glowing with LOVE, CONFIDENCE, and JOY
OK, so last night I was working on homework with my son going through the dictionary looking for definitions to spelling words, when I came across the word radiance: glowing with love, confidence and joy.. How many of you feel that way? I have not always, but as of late I realized that through the support of my family and friends, that's how I feel. RADIANT. I wanted to share the feeling with you, no matter where you are on this weight loss journey; just taking the first step, half way there, faltering or maintaining. You are fabulous, radiant and wonderful.. You may look at yourself and think, Radiant, Ha, no way I feel frumpy, depressed, and fat. The truth is we all have those kind of moments, but if we can remember that this journey we are on is a life time of little baby steps in the right direction then maybe we won't beat up on ourselves when we slip. We all make mistakes, have slips, wobble a little bit and sometimes even fall down. But get up, remember why you are on this journey; find the radiant You. When the cheesecake calls out to you at midnight say. with confidence, I don't need you I am finding the radiant me. When the gym is calling and your body says stay home on the couch, eat cheetos and watch the notebook.. say with confidence, NO! I am finding the radiant me.. And when your kids drive you to distraction, your husband makes you crazy and life in general seems stacked against you, remember.. You can do it! Find the radiance inside and start to glow... YOU ARE DOING IT!!! Taking steps in the right direction, making good choices, finding the you, you have always wanted to be!!!
